Santas Surfing
We encourage you to participate in this Cocoa Beach custom that attracts hundreds of surfers to the shore. Santa costume, Surfing Santas 2024! We hope that this will be the best event we have ever had.
What began as a modest family outing in Cocoa Beach has grown into an international event. On Christmas Eve, people gather in Cocoa Beach from all over the world to enjoy the holidays with Santa, friends, and family. No other beach is having this much fun on Christmas Eve, whether you surf or just want to get in on the holiday excitement!
This is a really festive, costume-friendly, and family-friendly event. Remind your friends to wear their Santa hats, and I hope to see you there.
Candlelight Shopping in Melbourne's Downtown
Celebrate the holidays in Downtown Melbourne from 4 to 8 p.m. on four Saturday nights. Activities like a tree lighting ceremony, Santa Claus, caroling, and more will take place on Melbourne Main Street!
On Saturday, November 30th, there will be a tree lighting ceremony at Campbell Park, a small business Saturday event. After the ceremony at 6:00 pm, bring the kids to see Santa Claus on stage. You can also enjoy carol singers and extended shop hours. Don't forget to support your local business on Small Business Saturday!

COOKIE CRAWL: To collect cookies in your commemorative Cookie Tin, pre-purchase one from Melbourne Main Street and shop at the participating stores along New Haven Avenue.
• The Grinch will be exploring and taking advantage of the longer store hours.
December 14th, Saturday ART WALK: Santa and Mrs. Claus will be out and about in the downtown area. The Strawbridge Art League will have carol singers and extended store hours. Live Art in the Alley: La Gallerie Sidewalk artists will be on exhibit. December 21st, Saturday POP-UP SHOPS Pop-Up shops are situated inside already-existing businesses and offer extended store hours, carol singers, and live saxophone performances. Santa will be visiting The Burger Place, and it will be snowing.
The Saint Nicks Skydiving
As the Skydiving Saint Nicks takes place at Skydive Melbourne Beach and The Crowne Plaza Melbourne Oceanfront, get ready to swap rocket fuel for some reindeer-powered SuperHuey Santa Sleigh! On December 21, Mrs. Claus, Santa, and all of their helpers spend the entire day in the sand.
Holidays in Space
This year, Starflake's Holiday Voyage is back for Holidays in Space! Watch a nightly projected show on the enormous exterior of Gateway: The Deep Space Launch Complex® from December 20th to December 30th, 2024. As Starflake journeys through the stars, Earth, and beyond, you can join her on an amazing adventure. The Vehicle Assembly Building, the International Space Station, and the James Webb Space Telescope with its pyrotechnic finale are just a few of the familiar locations you will see along the way. Remember! For the entire month of December, the visitor complex is decked out in festive holiday décor. Six-foot-tall astronaut nutcrackers, the NASA meatball-turned-holiday ornament, the beloved 50-foot tree, the seven new trees added to the Rocket Tree Trail this year, and much more.
